I'm really glad you're here. Let me tell you a little bit about myself, and please, if you have any other questions/wonderings /curiosities drop me a line. You can send me an email below or give me a call/ text.
Over the past 30 years I've supported a wide variety of people on their healing journeys. Together, we have worked through issues around trauma (current, historic & generational) PTSD, addiction & recovery (including alcohol, drugs, food, sex, gaming, porn, shopping, relationships & gambling), relationships & sexuality (including polyamourous, lifestyle, kink/BDSM), LGBTQIA+, gender identity & transition, anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, and bipolar disorder. I have also supported people who live differently-abled lives, including those living on the autism spectrum and with Downs Syndrome.
As a Clinical Counsellor, Art Therapist, Substance Misuse Counsellor, Life Coach, EFT & Reiki practitioner, I am able to draw from many different directions so, together, we can build a healing plan that fits your specific needs, goals and visions for the future.
That says a lot about how I work and my experience but, not so much about who I am as a person. I use she/her pronouns, while seeing, all of us, in the universal picture as they (check out my blog post entitled Ezra, the Leprechaun & They/Them pronouns) and am a queer, cis-gendered, sober, survivor of multiple traumas, the most damaging ones being as a very young person.
I hope with all my being, that I am as non-judgemental, caring and compassionate as I believe myself to be. I love to make art, walk, dance, meditate & practice yoga. I'm one who doesn't have a ton of friends but the ones I do, I hold very dearly and love them hard, with all my heart. Most-importantly of all, I am the mother of two amazing humans.
I write regularly about what is personally very important to me in my blog (posted below). I write quite frequently, not on any specific schedule, but when something comes to me that I feel like sharing, with the hope that you'll take something away from it that will help you in your healing, self-exploration journey...even if it's a tiny aha! moment.

How Do I Work?
Creativity and curiosity are an incredible part of our healing and growth process. It is creativity and curiosity that allow us to come up with new ideas, concepts & inventions. Creativity, combined with our curiosity and willingness to explore has made change possible and a living a life of joy achievable.
Curiosity, though sometimes masked as desperation, opens the door to our inner exploration and to a deeper relationship with our bodies. Creativity can be visualisation, brainstorming, art-making, movement, meditation, talking...creativity can be infused into any life endeavour! It sparks change in all areas of our lives and allows us to discover solutions we may never have considered.
We will take different approaches to our work together depending on both your short term and long term goals. Initial consultations, at no cost, will enable us to determine the best path of action for you at this time in your life. Being a life coach & a counsellor offers us a wide range of angles to work from so we can achieve your greatest success.

I would love to discuss a one-time, short-term, or on-going group you may want to create for a few/several/many people experiencing similar life issues, for example, art therapy &/or yoga (trauma-informed, healing, or any of the other mentioned examples), women/LGBTQIA+ in recovery, survivors of specific trauma, co-workers, creating a mindfulness &/or meditation practice for a specific theme or in general. Really, together, we can discuss how to create an experience that will meet the needs of those you have in mind.
